About me
From the velodrome to data
I started out competing. At 18 I became Spanish madison champion on the track, and the Spanish Cycling Federation called me up for the World and European Championships, where I finished sixth in both — which earned me elite athlete status.
From there I made the leap into Data Science: I'm now in my 3rd year of the degree at the Universitat Politècnica de València, focused on digitalization and technology applied to sport.
My differential value is that bridge: I've lived high performance from the inside — as a rider, as a grassroots sporting director, and as a masseur for professional cyclists — and I know how to read the data behind it. I understand what a number means to an athlete, because I've been that athlete. I bring both worlds together to turn data into decisions that improve performance.
On top of that, thanks to my elite athlete status I was awarded a scholarship for a Master's in Digitalization, Innovation and Technology in Sport, which I've now completed and which broadens my focus to the whole sports ecosystem, beyond cycling.
